The american burger It is a classic, not only in American cuisine but around the world. Its popularity is such that in recent years it has become a gourmet quality dish, versatile and exquisite.
But some of us prefer the traditional, that’s why in Easyrecipe.top we share our preparation of the classic North American burger full of flavor. Serve it with some homemade skin-on fries and leave everyone licking their fingers with your culinary skills.

For the meat
- 1 kilo of beef mince
- 2 tablespoons onion chopped
- 2 tablespoons mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- Fresh parsley
- 1 egg
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 4 lettuce leaves
- ½ onion
- 1 tomato
- Sauces to taste (ketchup, mustard or mayonnaise)
- Salt and pepper
- Olive oil
Preparation of the American hamburger
- Everyone has their personal secret to making a delicious American burger, ours is to add a little mustard and NOT use breadcrumbs. This results in a juicy and perfect meat.
- In the bowl of the mixer or blender, add two tablespoons of chopped onion, a little fresh parsley, the two tablespoons of mustard, the tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce and the egg. Blend until all the ingredients are integrated into a kind of sauce.
- Place the meat in a container, add the previous mixture and salt and pepper to taste, stirring well so that all the meat is full of flavor. The result of this seasoning will be a tasty and juicy meat.
- Add a drizzle of olive oil to a skillet and bring to medium heat. While it is heating, prepare your 4 burgers by shaping the meat to the thickness of your liking.
- When the pan is hot, add the meat and cook until golden brown on both sides. Pay special attention to the cooking of the meat according to the preference of the diners: to the point or well done.
- In another skillet over medium heat, brown the bacon until it is to your liking. When it is ready, remove it, save the oil that has released and use that same pan to heat and lightly brown the bread, impregnated with the bacon oil each time you add two new slices. Heating and browning bread really makes a difference in flavor!
- When the meat is done, add a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each one and let it melt slightly. Then place each piece of meat on a slice of bread along with the bacon, lettuce, sliced onion, and sliced tomato.
- Add the sauces of your choice and you are ready to enjoy a full-fledged American burger. There will be no one in the house who is left without sucking their fingers!
