Homemade avocado sauce recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 ripe avocados
- 1/2 cup of lemon juice
- 3 jalapeños or sweet peppers
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 green tomato
- 1 onion
- 1 teaspoon of cumin
- 1/4 of cup of olive oil
- Salt
Preparation of the avocado sauce step by step
- To prepare this delicious sauce, start by peeling, washing and cutting the onion into medium squares. Then cut the green tomato and garlic cloves in the same way.
- Now it’s the avocados’ turn! Cut each avocado in half, extract the seed and with the tip of a knife make vertical and horizontal cuts until you get a kind of grid.
- When you have the pulp of both avocados cut into squares, take a spoon and separate the squares of pulp from the skin. You will see that they come off easily.
- Place the avocado pulp in the blender glass with the lemon juice and the jalapeños or peppers. Process until you get a homogeneous sauce. You can also use a hand mixer for this task.
- Then add the onion, tomato, cumin, olive oil and a teaspoon of salt to the blender glass. Process to integrate with the rest of the preparation until obtaining a lump-free sauce.
- Pour the contents of the blender glass into a container and rectify the salt of the preparation. Now you can enjoy your avocado sauce! An easy and delicious recipe.
